The very nice pavillion of the park (1882), renovated by the "Echevinat de l'Ecologie Urbaine" has found back its original purpose : hosting concerts of regional bands and ensembles. The parks and gardens are not only a place to walk, but are also a meeting point for parties and entertainment. They symbolize social interaction, and the public concerts that are organized there take us back into history. This old tradition dates back to the Belle Epoque when such pavilions were plentiful in the city. Nowadays, about 20 concerts are organized every year in the parks. The local orchestras perform on marvellous stages to the sheer joy of the audience.
