Charges, cleaning and tenant deposit

Consumption of water, electricity, heating, wood, etc. has to be paid on the spot to the owner. If the service charges are calculated on the basis of a fixed rate (eg.: service charges € 6,00/9,00), the amount is to be paid per night/lodging. Unless otherwise stated, cleaning is to be done carefully by the tenant, otherwise the latter can be obliged to pay a compensation to the owner. The deposit has to be given in cash to the owner or the latter’s representative on arrival, the amount has to be paid in cash. This will be paid back after inventory of fixtures at the departure or within the 8 days after the departure.

Tourist tax

It is generally mentioned under the lodging description, except if it wasn’t known at the time of the development of this catalogue. Unless otherwise stated, the amount is to be paid per day and per adult.

Capacity

This is the official capacity for which the accommodation is approved by the Commissariat général au Tourisme of the Walloon Region, by the Ministry of the German-speaking Community or by the French-speaking Community Commission of the Brussels-Capital Region. This maximum capacity has to be respected strictly, even if the number of beds in the lodging description gives a higher capacity.
"(4/6 p.)" would indicate that the lodging comprises rooms with beds for 4 adults and extra capacity (sofabed, folding bed, etc.) for 2 extra adults.

Equipment

KITCHEN
Only the major household electronic appliances (dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, freezer) are mentioned in the description. All gites and lodgings have a fridge and a cooker (indications are generally given about the power supply arrangements).

TV This information indicates that the accommodation has a colour TV linked to cable network. The description makes it quite clear if the TV is not linked to the network or if it is a black and white set.

HOUSEHOLD LINEN
Unless otherwise stated, the tenant must bring along sheets, duvet covers and hand towels.

Pet

The presence of a pet has to be specified when booking. Only one animal is allowed per accommodation unit, unless agreed beforehand with the owner. An extra charge may be demanded.

Address of the lodging

Attention! The owner may not necessarily live at this address. It is better not to send mail there without having made prior arrangements.

Arrivals and departures

WEEKEND
From Friday evening (4 pm – 6 pm)
to Sunday evening (5 pm) or to Monday morning (10 am) without extra charge in L.S, S.S. and outside the school holidays.

WEEK
Outside the school holidays, the bookings are generally made from Friday (4 pm – 6 pm) to Friday (10 am). During the school holidays, the bookings are generally made from Saturday (4 pm – 6 pm) to Saturday (10 am) and for stays of one week minimum.
During the Easter holidays, bookings from Friday to Friday are promoted.

LATE ARRIVAL
It is recommended to contact the landlord a few days before the departure in order to confirm the time of arrival. It is imperative to inform the landlord about every arrival outside the times agreed.
